This Sloppy Joe filling is warm, richly seasoned, easy to make, and super yummy. And due to a last minute craving, there's a bonus track for making oven French fries!

Ingredients

  • 1Tbsp olive oil (or some cooking spray)
    1 1/4 lbs very lean ground beef
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    2-3 tsp steak seasoning blend (I use McCormick Montreal Seasoning)
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 medium onion
    1 small red bell pepper
    1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce
    2 cups (1 can) tomato sauce)
    2 Tbsp tomato paste
    4-5 crusty rolls or hamburger buns
    and...
    Yukon gold potatoes
    1-2 Tbsp oil of your choice
    Salt
    French fry seasoning of your choice (optional)
