2 sticks (1 cup) salted butter
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup pumpkin butter, homemade or store-bought
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 ounces semi-sweet or dark chocolate chunks
1/3 cup cinnamon sugar

Set the butter and egg out to come to room temperature
Preheat oven to 350°
Additional Notes
If you want more pumpkin spice flavor, add in 1/2 to 1 tsp pumpkin spice with the flour.
These are very sweet. Consider adding a few grains of coarse salt to the top just before baking them, to contrast that sweetness.
