Slow Cooker Korean Beef

    3-6 hours slow cook time


  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steak
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    2 Tbsp sesame oil
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 cup soy sauce (low sodium might be best)
    1/2 cup beef broth
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup chopped white onion
    1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
    Small head of broccoli (Optional)
    Sesame seeds and chopped green onions
    White rice (fresh-made, for serving)

  • Sharp knife
    Large bowl or zippered storage bag
    Slow cooker


  • 30 min before serving, start cooking the rice
