Salmon Patties with Guest Chefs Horatio & North : A Plateful of Fun!

Ingredients

  • 2 17.5oz cans salmon
    2 eggs
    1-1.5 sleeves of Ritz Crackers
    2-3 green onions (1/4 cup chopped)
    2 Tbsp chopped fresh dill weed
    1 drop liquid smoke
    Avocado or Canola oil
    Tartar sauce or other sauce of your choice (Green Goddess Salad dressing recommended!)

Number of Servings

  • 12-14 slider-size patties

  • Chopping knife
    Can opener
    Strainer for draining canned salmon
    Rolling pin
    Zippered plastic bag
    Large bowl
    Frying pan (we used 10" cast iron)
    Spatula

Do-Aheads

  • Chop green onions and dill

Additional Notes

Fresh salmon can be used, if desired. And smoked salmon can be used instead of Liquid Smoke–replace 1/3 of the regular salmon with smoked salmon.

These can be served as is or on buns with lettuce and other trimmings.
