  • 2 cups + 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1 Tbsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold
    1 egg
    1/4 cup + 1/8 cup + 1-3 Tbsp heavy whipping cream
    1/4 cup sour cream
    4 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp almond extract
    1 cup diced fresh peaches
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    Sparkling sugar (optional)
    Pinch of ground cardamom (optional)

  • Baking sheet OR Scone pan
    Parchment paper OR Baker's Joy cooking spray
    Large bowl
    Medium bowl
    Small bowl
    Pastry cutter OR two table knives
    Pastry brush OR spoon


  • Preheat oven to 400°
    Spray scone pan or line baking sheet with parchment paper
    Peel, pit, and dice peaches
    Cut butter into small cubes
