Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread

This is a special sweet bread for breakfast or dessert. Better than banana bread, fancier than pumpkin or zucchini bread, this is just a great way to get your cinnamon & brown sugar fix.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 large egg
    1/4 cup canola oil
    3 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
    1/8 tsp (heaping) ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 12 slices


  • Large bowl
    2 small bowls
    9x5" loaf pan


  • Preheat oven to 350°
    Allow eggs to warm to room temperature
