8 oz wide noodles
1 1/2 pounds very lean ground beef
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
24 oz tomato sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup cottage cheese
8 oz package cream cheese, softened
4 Tbsp pesto (Optional)
1/4 cup sour cream
3-4 green onions
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Number of Servings
Large frying pan
Colander (for draining the pasta)
9x13" baking dish
Cook noodles according to package directions, or according to the blog, "You Don't Know How to Cook Pasta" on this site (see link below).
Shred cheddar cheese, unless you have an already-shredded package.
Preheat oven to 350°
